of once a peaceful land

The choppy river chortled ,

as the song bird sings ,

busy maiden with chores ,

careless what future brings .

The Sun chases his tail ,

the hermit pushes North ,

the prince’s betrayal ,

brings destruction forth .

Soldiers hail ,

armies roar ,

equipage whole ,

thy land not .

The maiden wails ,

her lone son pass ,

the song bird cries ,

as the river bed dries .

the author wishes to point out that Yvonne is her “evil twin”..so is the other way around

fly!

They told me "you fly you die"
I spread my wings and embraced the wind anyway,
I have never felt more alive
