Actually I’m supposed to check my physics answers online but, ahhh..gimme a break. It’s the exam month for finals, but that doesn’t mean I should study harder. In fact, people should balance their life more, get enough sleep, exercise, plan outings.

I seriously hate exams, I mean, what is their argument for evaluating a student based on a single (or maybe two) pieces of paper under a mere couple of hours? The student may be sick on that particular day. The student may have experienced a traumatic event which keeps distracting him/her. The student may underperform/overperform under extreme stress…etc etc

It’s like some one who knew nothing about fish species fish out of the ocean. If he caught two tunas and one shark, he concludes that the oceanic fish species is 2/3 tuna and 1/3 shark right away.

I don’t mind being evaluated, I mind being evaluated on a single damn all or nothing paper.

I mean if you want to be rude at least tell me what is in my post which makes you want to say “what the fart!” …twice.

Anyways the offsprings of your fingertips will be deleted in like..0.371 seconds, but you still make me waste some oxygen my cells used to respire.

I’m making up the decimal places, and the oxygen thing.

So we are introduced with this main character who is really pathetic at keeping himself alive, with a really weird name, Hiccup (why does this starting to sound like Chicken Little?) ..fast forward fast forward…found a dragon..fast forward fast forward..released the dragon..fast forward fast forward..feed dragon..fast forward fast forward..named dragon– Toothless.

Now, THANK GOD the movie doesn’t show talking dragons! Dragons are supposed to be like the legends, you know..rawr? breathe fire? big claws? wings?

However, I don’t mind a new thing being added to the dragon character : cuteness ♥

Toothless is just so adorable!! Even when he throws tantrums :D I mean, he’s a real eye candy!

Loved the show, oh wait scratch that..Loved the dragon, hate the main character, hate the plot..

Bet everyone gets sick of centering around an ugly duckling who eventually(and certainly) turns into a swan.

while Angeleve.wordpress was dead, it’s owner/author/exagerattor (hey I just invent a word!) was busy busy busy of course.Dont worry you don’t have to hear me blabber it all.

So I went through two university interviews, one from Cardiff University UK and another from Nottingham University Malaysia, I applied for the Masters of Pharmacy course in both. Essentially, the Nottingham one is easier, not because of the questions they ask, but because Cardiff’s one is through the telephone

You might thought ” hey buddy girl, you don’t have to actually see the interviewer!! that’s cool!! Even better than a face to face one!!”

Well the people who opine that, either they have never been to an interview of any sort, or they spend hours everyday chitter chattering away on the phone with God knows whoever is on the other side who can talk just as long.

Any chemistry students out there, whose first language isn’t English, or they need to handle several languages at once, try being on your phone which is displaying a very long international number with a British, while trying to sort through his unfamiliar accent, and also keeping your overwhelming nervousness at bay. explain as clearly as you can what is a benzene ring.

well people, I dont know how much Cardiff University fork out from their wallets, but the international call interview lasts 35 minutes. At least I know that Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff actually cares to know whether their applicants care about what they apply.

so many people wished me today, I’m so happy I couldn’t use vocabulary more advanced than a 9 year old’s

yesterday,
most of PM2 went to Cafe Cabana to celebrate Greem’s and my birthday. (Greem’s fall on the 3rd)

so we ate lunch, then practically inhaled the cake,(we were already late when we get started on the cake) then on our way back to college Adam opened the window of Chemistry Lab3 (which is directly beside the lane we always use to go back to college) and said “wei, Miss Cindy angry liao leh!” That scared us, Miss Cindy in garang mode, so we ran. Most of us arrived like 10+minutes late.

hmmm, few days ago we noticed Burger King closed down. Why did we notice it in the first place?

something that smells and looks like puke drained out of the shop lot, in large quantities I say, LARGE quantities! No seriously, even though the neighbours tried to wash it away, the place still stinks like vomit laid under the tropical sun for days!!

If our nose had a switch, I’d gladly turned it off

why I did not took a picture you say? Well if you were me at that time, the last thing you’d do is to rummage for your phone, you’d utilise your fingers to spare your nose the awful stench instead, aye.

On the bright side, the closing of the Burger King branch had its benefits :

(i) some useful business might actually sprout up in the doomed fast food place’s place

(ii)away with crappy overpriced burgers

(iii)away with misleading Burger King promotions and ads around the area.Eye sores they are. tsk tsk

(iv)we already had a fast food restaurant serving burgers (McDonalds) , which, in my opinion, is more suitable for Malaysian taste buds.

(v)no more reminder of past memories

hmmm.

Oh yes, I need A for chemistry and maths.

so, we decided to go for lunchey at 面对面, the noodle house
which by the way, turns out to be super crowded
so we had to go fill our rumbing tummies in the VERY quiet restaurant, which is right beside the 面对面..

and oh yeah..as regards the newbies in our college, the uhh…January 2010 intake..we had great fun scaring them! especially the people who take the same subjects as my class (the PM’s) say anything and everything in ALevels is hard! and they give a forced smile

or maybe they are just trying not to be rude

then, WHEREVER THEY GOT THE INFO FROM..they scare us back with the fact that our AS results are going to come out on the 25th of January

gahhhh!!

and oh yes! the Edexcel Alevelers are gonna have their exams 2 weeks from now! Good Luck to :
