yay! the yearof the end of a decade

since my birthday is so close to the start of a year, every new year makes me think i suddenly grew 1 year older

like whoosh or something

However I think most of you think the same.

Here’s a lil story :

11 hours ago (11.59pm, 31 December 2009) a crowd was enthusiastically counting down the last seconds of a dreadful to some, wonderful to others year in Sunway.

..5! ..4! ..3! ..2! ..1!!!

all heads glance up to the quiet night sky in the wake of a somewhat eerie silence..

“WHERE ARE THE FIREWORKS???!!!”

Coinkydoinks! the crowd of hundreds of people were told by some crew on the stage who actually realised something was wrong..that..the . fireworks . are . at . the . back . of . Sunway

oh well, missed the fireworks..nothing we could do except pout..which, typically..does nothing, so I didn’t pout.

Fireworks are not environmentally friendly anyway
